“Maria Polydouri” is a new work written with the authentic voice of the heroine, talking about her incredible power to be excited and to suffer at the same time. To love and at the same time to reject. To speak her truth until it is heard. And to humiliate the lie until it disappears. To be rebellious even after the attack of her illness. To boldly transcend what her era was unable to accept and to understand. Along with her great love for the poet Kostas Karyotakis.
